Since I already use my name for my freelance writing business and the best site name ever Will Write for Chocolate is already taken, I had to come up with an available non-name specific fresh idea.

In the brainstorming session, all the writing puns (write on the edge), chocolate, caffeine and monkey ideas were discarded. Can you believe Chocolate Monkey is already taken? I wanted a name that encompassed writing, inspiration, and motivation so of course all I could think of were lemurs.

I blurted it out, and inspiredbylemurs was available. I’m still not sure if my brainstorming partners REALLY like it or if they were ready to kill me, but the name stuck and here we are.

Ok, but why lemurs? Look at them!Kind of goofy, but definitely interesting.
